食欲不振是指由于过度疲劳、情绪紧张、不良习惯和药物刺激等因素引起的一种对食物缺乏需求的状态。除上述原因之外，各种身体疾病也会引起食欲不振。在下丘脑，有两个调节摄食的中枢，一个是饱足中枢，另一个是嗜食中枢，这两个中枢功能发挥正常就能调节、控制摄食。

Besides, various kinds of diseases are responsible for the loss of appetite.
