This experiment involves 90 subjects and aims to investigate why uncontrollable cognition, caused by inconsistence of information feedback, could lead to learned helplessness. It is found that inconsistence of information feedback damaged cognition, emotion and the following task performance under uncontrollable circumstance and whether the subjects receive feedback in performance evaluation has no significant effects on their motivation, cognition and emotion.
