The changes of Temporary Threshold Shift (TTS)and the SDH and MDH activity in guinea pigs after explosion were observed by means of auditory physiological and histochemical methods. It is suggested that the hearing loss less than 40dB is correlated with the activity of the SDH and MDH in the cochlea and this change (viz, TTS) is reversible.
