英语语境:

The tenet of Enlightenment rationality is to cast off fear and gain freedom. However, people do not achieve liberation in its true sense, but get into a new thrall instead. This paradox results from self-variation of a rational tradition ever since Greek antiquity during the Enlightenment. Enlightenment rationality has denigrated into instrumental rationality marked by mathematization and pragmatization, and has risen to the status of rationality cult in its own right. Ego inflation of instrumental rationality necessarily indicates the loss of value rationality, thus, inducing serious ethic consequences, that is, the loss of ultimate entity, the nihility ethic value and vulgarization of ethic spirit.
