Problems in the dendrology teaching are analyzed based on its teaching requirements of ecology specialty of Agriculture University of Hebei in this paper. According to the specialty features of dendrology curriculum, series of its teaching reform are discussed from the construction of reasonable curriculum system, the reform of teaching methods and means, the strengthening of experiment and practice teaching, the training of qualified teachers and teaching staff, and the improvement of assessment method in an attempt to improve its teaching quality.
