The experimental pneumoconiosis was reproduced on rabbits successfully with the ground dust in wheat straw. The result of the experiment showed that there could be interstitial pneumonia and pneumoconiosis lesions in lungs of the experimental rabbits. Pathophysiologically, anoxia and acidosis were detected. Meanwhile, numerous monocytes and hyaline thrombosis were discovered in the capillaries of the lungs. In the later stage of the experiment, the compliance of the lungs was reduced; it would be the major contributor to breathing with difficulty.
