A comparative and experimental study was conducted on the irrigation of winter wheat with regenerated water and well water in Xicaozhai Village of Xiaodian District and the central experimental station of Fenhe Irrigation Area. The results showed that the content of nitrogen in the soil irrigated with regenerated water was higher than that in the soil irrigated with well water, which would have effects on the stem length, the leaf area and yield of the winter wheat. It was advised that, with farmland irrigated with regenerated water, the fertilizing quantity should be reduced adequately, so as to avoid pollution caused by excessive nitrogen in the farmland.
