With the development of the society, the deans play a more and more important role in the academies and universities. Their role conflict is also increasingly obvious, which reflects itself in the inter-role conflict and internal-role conflict. These two types of role conflict are caused by external factors which are social environment and internal management of the university and internal factor which is the deans'scientific literacy. Role conflict has a great influence on the process of education reform in schools or even universities. It's urgent that the society, universities and deans should adjust themselves to alleviate role conflict and ensure the healthy development of education.
