Merchandising management is the core daily business activities of European and American retail enterprises. It refers to the fact that a retailer starts from analysing the customers'demands in order to analyse comprehensively and make a plan for the combination of commodities, pricing method, promoting activities as well as fund utilizing, commodities stocking and other operational indicators and provides the customers with the commodities at the best time, in the most appropriate quantity and at the right price and achieve the established economic indicators at the same time through the efficient operation system. From the beginning of the design of combined commodities, based on the core needs of the target customers, merchandising management is carried out to deal with these problems: what problems will the retail stores solve for the customers; what roles do the retail stores play in their customers'life; how they benefit their customers.
