Soft negotiation is a type of negotiation that when two parties negotiate, both of them make a concession in order to maintain their relationship. In the soft negotiation the two parties don't take each other as a rival but as a friend and the emphasis is not to prevail, but to establish and maintain good relations. If the negotiators are able to consider each other's interest and compromise, then the soft negotiation can improve the efficiency and reduce cost. The relationship will be further strengthened.
