萨盖定律又称手表定理，一个人有一只表时，可以知道现在是几点钟，当他同时拥有两只表时，却无法确定。两只手表并不能告诉一个人更准确的时间，反而会让看表的人失去对准确时间的信心。萨盖定律给我们的启示就是对同一个人或同一个组织不能同时采用两种不同的方法，不能同时设置两个不同的目标，甚至每一个人不能由两个人来同时指挥，否则将使这个企业或者个人无所适从。
英语语境:
Segal's Law, also called Watch Law, means that when a person has only one watch, he can know the time while if he has two watches, he won't be sure about the time. Two watches cannot tell a person the exact time but confuses the person. Segal's Law tells us that a person or an organization cannot use two methods or set two goals at the same time. A person cannot be directed by two people, otherize the person or the organization will be confused.
