Schein's organizational change theory was put forward by the organizational behaviorist Shane, who thought that the process of organizational change can be divided into the following six steps. Firstly, investigate the internal conditions and external environment of the organization to find out its changes. Secondly, provide specific information on the changes of the internal and external environment to the relevant units of the organization. Thirdly, take actions to change. Fourthly, reduce or control the side effects caused by the changes. Fifthly, output the achievements of the change. Finally, evaluate the result of the change and carry out another round of change. The commom solutions to the conflicts in organizational change are laissez faire, patching up a quarrel and reconciling the parties concerned, compromise and compalsory management.
