Competitor-oriented pricing strategy is to show that the enterprise take the product pricing strategy that is the same as the similar commodity market price and belongs to the pricing method based on competition. That is the enterprise's price is based largely on competitors'price rather than its own cost and demand. Competitor-oriented pricing strategy is a passive pricing strategy. Many small and medium-sized enterprises are willing to adopt this strategy to get along well with their counterparts and reduce risks, thus sparing more effort to improve quality of their commodities and raising standards of service.
