日本在二十世纪初期曾以近三十年的时间对殖民地台湾进行了全面的土地调查，建立了详细的地籍系统。在此同时，也籍向传统时期制作的契约文书来整理复杂的租佃关系，以确立每笔土地的权利关系人及法律地位。总督府在地籍整理过程中所收集、抄录的契约文书，目前有一部分被保留在台湾总督府档案中，为数将近一万五千件，约为现行已公开之台湾关系契约文书总量的七成五。总督府抄录契约时，曾对契约的关系人、土地坐落以及真伪进行细致的考证工作，并将新建的地籍系统登录在契约抄本上。

英语语境:

In the early 20th century, the Japanese colonial government carried out a comprehensive land survey in Taiwan for nearly 30 years and established a detailed and thorough land registry. Making use of these land documents produced in previous times, the Taiwan Sōtokufu sought to clarify complicated land relations, and build upon them clear land rights for each plot of land. These land documents acquired during the land investigation process were partly preserved in the Taiwan Sōtokufu Archives, and totaled around 15, 000 pieces. They amounted to nearly 75 percent of the published land documents at present. In the process of transcribing the land documents, the Taiwan Sōtokufu examined carefully the parties involved, the locations of the pieces of land and the authenticity of the documents. Moreover, they adopted the newly established land registry when transcribing the land documents.

在现行的土地统计制度中，土地统计指标大多使用的是土地调查及土地登记的数据，而较少使用土地质量方面的数据。这就使得土地统计数据只能反映土地的数量和利用类别现状，而不能综合地反映土地的质量。以土地分等定级为前提，提出一种将土地质量等级量化为权重的构想。同时设计一种质量权面积指标以加强土地质量因素在土地统计中的利用，并举例说明具体设计及实施方法。

英语语境:

In the current system of land statistics, the indices of land statistics mostly use the data of land investigation and registration and rarely use the data of land quality. It will happen that the statistics data of land could only reflect land quantity and sorts of land utilization but not land quality. Based on the land classification data, an idea of quntizing the grade of land as weight is presented. Meanwhile, we can design an index named as quality weight area to enhance utility of land quality in land statistics and use examples to illustrate specific design and implementation methods.
