采取稳定型战略的企业，一般处在市场需求及行业结构稳定或者较小动荡的外部环境中，因而企业所面临的竞争挑战和发展机会都相对较少。但是，有些企业在市场需求以较大的幅度增长或是外部环境提供了较多的发展机遇的情况下也会采取稳定型战略。这些企业一般来说是由于资源状况不足以使其抓住新的发展机会而不得不因此采用相对保守的稳定型战略。

英语语境:

Those enterprises adopting defense strategy often face comparatively fewer competitive challenges and developing opportunities because they are often in the outer environment where marketing demand and business structure are stable and there is almost no turbulence. However, some enterprises also adopt defense strategy when marketing demand increases by a large margin or outer environment provides many developing opportunities. The reason why these enterprises adopt comparatively conservative defense strategy is that insufficient resources can't ensure them to grab new developing opportunities.
