任何一种允许员工用少于五天工作制的天数完成其工作职责的工作时间安排都叫做压缩工作周。一般说来，我们的标准工作周要求我们每周工作五天，每天八个小时，一周工作四十个小时。在压缩工作周的制度下，员工可以选择一天工作十个小时，这样一周就只需要工作四天，同样，周工作时数仍然是四十个小时。

英语语境:

Any kind of system allowing employees to complete their five-day duties with less than five days are all called compressed work weeks. In general, our standard work week requires us to work for five days a week with eight hours a day and forty hours in a working week. In the compressed work week system, employees can choose to work ten hours a day, so you only need to work four days a week. Of course, the hours of work in a week are still forty hours.
