Way

Way, is the most important concept with various meanings in traditional Chinese thoughts and philosophy. In the Spring and Autumn period when the term Way first appeared, it was regarded as the morality, truth and correct methods of governing a state or leading a righteous life. However, For Taoism, the Way, is the one, the nonbeing, the creator of the world and all things, and the supreme standard. However, for Confucianist, the Way symbolizes the heaven, namely, the eternal principle for both man and things. Later in Neo-Confucianism, the Way means the principle, human nature and the Supreme Ultimate. In Chinese Buddhism, it is used to refer to the real nature, the original face, or the Buddha Nature.Whereas, the Lu-Wang Idealistic School identified it with mind and the innate knowledge.
