气禀是战国时期出现的哲学术语。韩非子曾经说“生死取决于气的禀赋。”这一说法与汉代王充的观点相同。宋朝新儒家学派认为气的禀赋构成了人的自然属性。具有纯洁之气的人时圣人，而具有浑浊之气的人则是小人。
英语语境:
