Aristotle was the greatest philosopher in ancient Greek. His thoughts on philosophy almost touched on all important philosophical topics . He put forward two important philosophical categories in his book "Metaphysics”, namely, potentiality and actuality. The two categories and their relations were full of profound dialectic implications which have important significance for the development of western philosophy.
