英语语境:
Principles of Heaven and human desire are two opposite traditionally philosophical concepts in Neo-Confucianism of the Song and Ming period. The former is the moral guides containing humanity, righteousness, propriety and wisdom, while the latter relates to human's substantial desires.Zhu Xi maintained that the two kinds of things could not co-exist in human mind as human desires were evil and should be eliminated, and the principle of Heaven should be preserved.
