英语语境:

Simmel distinguishes religion from religiousness in his philosophy. For him, religion refers to external dogmas and institutions which are formed as a posterior, while religiousness means the internal character of life or soul given as a priori. Religiousness is the core of religion and religion is the embodiment o f religiousness. Religion may be regarded as an integral form and it constructs views of the world and human life. Among human relations substantially exists religiousness characterized by spiritual sublimationn, sacredness, dedication and loyalty. It gathers social fragments and forms the structure of the social ethos and spirit. Thus, social structure possesses religious characteristics and religious structure manifests itself as symbols and absoluteness of social structure.
