大多数情况下，联络口译中的话轮转换需要借助译员的翻译才能实现。在理想化的状态下，口译员只需直接传递跨语言交际双方的话轮即可，即当事双方A、B与译员C之间的转换是A-C-B-C-A这种规范化的模式。但是在实际的口译实践中，这种转换并不总是按照这种理想化的模式进行。
英语语境:
In most cases, turn-taking in liaison interpreting goes smoothly only after the translation of the interpreter. Under ideal situation, the interpreter C only needs to transfer turns between interlocutor A and interlocutor B directly in liaison interpreting, that is, it goes in a regular way as A-C-B-C-A. While in real practice, it does not go as the ideal model.
