Jingpo language is spoken by 40, 000 people in China. It is classified as a part of Tibeto-Burman language in the system of Sino-Tibetan language family. The language has abundant prosodic features. The six aspects of it are he vowel height harmony; the weak-strong prosodic pattern of disyllabic words, alliteration, rhyme, semi-reduplication; disyllabification; reduplication; lengthening. The prosodic rules can be divided into two types according to the domain of rule application: rules at the word level and rules at the clause level.
