英语语境:
The relation between interrogative tone of Cantonese and auxiliary word of mood has long not been clearly established.This study demonstrates that it is not the former that tends similarly to the later, but the former affects the change of the tone pitch of the later.Therefore, there are only six true auxiliary words of interrogative mood baring the interrogative function in Cantonese;what's more, there also exsits a low-flat tone in Cantonese yes-no questions except a high rising tone.The later is used to express the mood of surprise and doubt, while the former carries the seek-to-be-proved interrogative information.
