The concepts of space and time in an ethnic group have an inherent and profound corresponding relationship with its language structure. Take Turkic group languages for example, the relationship is embodied in three aspects. Many a word which denotes concepts of time is derived from words which express concepts of space; some grammatical elements which signify time come from grammatical elements that express concepts of space; some grammatical structures which denote time or relation stem from structures that express concepts of space.
