Pun, as a figure of speech, can be divided into Homophonic Pun and Homonymic Pun. The shared characteristics among them is that the utterance meaning may fall onto the different meanings of the same word or same (similar) pronunciation and each pun has double contexts. The double contexts impact it a lot and their creations are distinct.
