英语语境:

Chinese teaching is neither teaching the language nor teaching the speech. Rather, it should be teaching the law of rhetoric, or "teaching students to learn rhetoric", which is the only way to improve students'verbal ability. Because of its disciplinary status, theoretical value and cognitive value, rhetoric is a powerful tool in language teaching. If Chinese teachers master the law and the rules of rhetoric, they have the tool of Chinese teaching at disposal and work efficiently in teaching practice.

This sketch is hoped to serve as a basis for further study.
