众所周知，英语和汉语都是新加坡人所使用的语言，同时，二者与标准化语言的形式又存在着差异。这些差异和不同大部分是由于文化、历史和地理因素等产生的。新加坡英语和新加坡华文作为两种语言变体，在发音，结构和使用习惯上都区别于标准美式英语和标准英式英语。

英语语境:

As we know, English and Chinese are both spoken in Singapore, and these two languages are quite different from English in England and Chinese in China. Those differences are mostly caused by factors, such as culture, history and geographic position. Singaporean English and Singaporean Chinese are the two language varieties that are very different from other standard language versions, like American English and British English, in pronunciation, structure and usage.
