语言是文化的载体，语言接触必然有“文化“的交流，而文化交流又是语言接触的动因；没有文化交流的需要，很难实现语言的接触，而语言接触又表现出文化的交流，两者如影随形，不可分开；语言的深度接触必然产生文化的迁移，进而发生双语现象或双言现象，乃至发生语言转用。
英语语境:
Language is culture's carrier, language contact inevitably leads cultural exchange, while cultural interaction is the motivation of language contact. Without cultural needs, there will be no language contact. On the other hand, language contact reflects cultural exchange. They can not be separated from each other. Deep language contact must produce the cultural transfer. Then it causes bilingualism or diaglossia, and even the language shift.
