长期以来，当代中国美学基本上在认识论哲学框架下运行和发展。但是，蒋孔阳先生晚年的美感论把美感置于主客关系之中加以探讨，已经开始突破和超越认识论的哲学基础。他认为美感已不再是对美的客观认识和“反映”，提出了美与美感相互创造、互为因果的“循环”说。

英语语境:

Over a long period of time, contemporary Chinese aesthetics basically operates and develops with the epistemological philosophical framework, but Mr. Jiang Kongyang discussed the aesthetic perception in his late years by putting aesthetic perception into the subject-object relationship, thus his theory began to break and surpass the philosophical basis of epistemology. He no longer regarded the aesthetic perception to be the object recognition and “reflection”of beauty, and raised the “Circulation” theory of that mutual creation and mutual causality between beauty and aesthetic perception.
