英语语境:
Zhu Xiang was engaged in the translation of the poems from English to Chinese in the period of the May 4th Movement in China. His melancholy personality made him favor such poems of Wordsworth, Coleridge, Keats. Zhu Xiang applied both literal and free translation methods and paid much attention to rhymes and sounds in poems. Besides making better rhymes, his free translation showed his original understanding of the English poems while spicing them with the flavor of the receiving culture, making his translation a unique one.
