With the prevalence of ink and wash painting, painters tend to use dye ink cloud method (bake cloud method).In the exercise of this technique, traces of brush strokes should not be exposed lest the gentle state of clouds might get lost. This method usually paints light scattered clouds by line and dotting method, with front layers rubbing into the cloud that appears to be flowing rather than static. Also, there should be variations in the dimension and direction of clouds so that they do not appear thick or sluggish.
