In the first part of Tang Jianping's "JiJi RuLing", in order to convey the nervous and irritating mood, emphasis is put on accent change in the form of allegro on the basis of equal rhythm. To achieve the effect, use is made of techniques of playing gong and drum in opera, such as "JiJiLing", "ChongTou" and "LuanChui". The music is accomplished at a stretch and comes to a halt at the appropriate time, just like that in fignting scenes in Peking Opera.
