Chinese ceramics have a glorious history and are known far and wide, favored by people all around the world. Untill the Kang, Yong, Qian period, Jingdezhen's ceramics industry also had developed. Specially, the color-glazed porcelain had a rapid development, and reached its peak in Chinese ceramics industry history. During the Prosperous Era of Kangxi, the color-glazed porcelain had made breakthroughs in blue and black overglaze materials, surpassing the technology in the Ming Dynasty during which the color overglazes must mixed with the blue-and-white underglazes. This improvement accelerated the development of color-glazed porcelain to its perfect stage. At the same time, the Qing Dynasty had made breakthreoughs in the Enamel and the famille rose porcelains. The Enamel began in the Kanghsi period. Under the inspiration of Clo isonné craft, it used the glaze introduced from overseas as decoration, which became the main fashion of that time. The Famille rose porcelains are based on the Enamel and color-galzed porcelains, the appearance of which had developed into a new type of color-glazed porcelain.
