英语语境:

The egret dance, the folk dance of Dai nationality, prevails in some parts of Dehong, Yunnan Province. At festivals, young people dance in pairs collectively. Legend has it that in ancient times a Dai clan, who moved from a faraway place to Dehong, would gather every night to dance in pairs by imitating the habits and gestures of egrets. As time went by, they were called "Daiyang" (meaning "the Dai people who imitate egrets to dance") and the dance is then passed down to later generations.
