Han Mo Quan Shu(《翰墨全书》) is a cyclopedia used for daily communication by common people. It was compiled in the Yuan Dynasty, and then reorganized twice. This book collects words, literary quotations, poems, classical poetry, literary works and exchanging letters etc. Han Mo Quan Shu had three versions, namely Dade (大德), Taiding (泰定) and early Ming edition. Dade is the earliest version and abundant in content, Taiding version is the simplication of Dade. The early Ming edition is primarily the adaptation of Taiding. Therefore, Dade version should be used in preference to the other two editions. Most poems and essays are written by authors in the Song Dynasty, especially the Southern Song Dynasty, whose native places are usually Fujian and Jiangxi. It's necessary to note that there were some errors in the editing, copying and publishing of Han Mo Quan Shu.
