There are two hundred years old lounge bridges and a large number of outstanding vernacular architectures in Sixi town, Taishun county of ZhenJiang province. Lounge bridges have some utility functions as defense, recreation, business and so on. It is suggested that lounge bridges and other vernacular architectures be preserved and the main street in the ancient town be renovated.
