There are two perspectives on the interpretation of manche in the mahogany industry. The traditional opinion holds that manche is furniture made from single wood and without mixture of any other material. The other opinion holds that the single wood is just one requisite for furniture to be called manche, with the other requisite being that the furniture is free of any white.
