汉语语境:
传统吉祥图案寓意多福、多寿、多子。传统纹样一般多以佛手、桃子和石榴组成。“佛”与“福”谐音，相传佛之手能握财宝，多财宝表示多福；桃子俗称“寿桃”，吃了可长生；石榴，作为多子的寓意；“三多”图案有的以佛手、桃子和石榴组合于一盘；有的使三者并蒂；也有的以三种果物作缠枝相联。
英语语境:
As a Chinese traditional auspicious pattern, the Three-Fortune conveys favorable felicity, long lifespan and fabulous fecundity. The pattern generally consists of three kind of fruits: Buddha's hand (fo shou in Chinese), peach (shou tao in Chinese) and pomegranate. The fo in fo shou and fu (meaning favorable felicity) are homo-phonic and the Buddha's hand is believed to be able to grasp treasure and wealth which stand for felicity; Shou in shou tao means great longevity; the pomegranate bear clusters of seeds (signifying sons in Chinese). And the three fruits are either displayed together in one tray, either linked by stems or intertwined by twigs.
