Pole-climbing is a kind of sports acrobatics. Acrobats climb up and down onto a fixed 6-meter-high pole and make various body movements. It is one of Chinese traditional ancient acrobatics. The acrobats are refined and processed according to the common phenomenon in life and work and then they create various actions. Guangdong acrobatic troupe developed this program into "double pole-climbing" and applied the somersault of sports in performance of double pole. This innovation not only expands the performance space but also increases the difficulty as well as thrill and risk of climbing. Acrobats leap between the two poles and slide up and down. They make up an uniform and symmetrical balance pattern and create a great sensation with surprising, risky, difficult and beautiful performance.
