汉语语境:

中国古代，早期床的演化经历了一个由专而泛的过程。在殷墟卜辞和西周文献中，床专指卧具，东周时期床分化为坐具和卧具，汉代又附加了榻之类坐与半卧的功能。唐宋以来，很多与坐卧无关的床形器物，也被叫做床。考古所见早期床的形制，也反映了这一过程。同时，古代在使用床的过程中形成了相应的文化和礼俗。

英语语境:

In ancient China, the evolution of the early bed experienced a process from special to extensive. In the book of the assembly of oracle inscriptions in the Yin and Shang dynasty and the literature of west Zhou Dynasty, bed specifically referred to furniture for sleeping. Bed was also used as little bed for sitting and bedding in east Zhou dynasty and in Han dynasty, it was added the function of sitting and half-lying like that of a long, narrow and low bed. Since Tang and Song dynasties, various implements made like beds but not for sitting or sleeping had also been called beds. Archeological findings showed that the early shapes and production of beds also reflected this process. Meanwhile, during that process of using beds, a corresponding culture and rites were shaped.

汉语语境:

敦煌壁画中的床和榻多不易区分，当配备有屏风或隔障，才可断定它是床。宋代敦煌壁画出现圆形榻、元代出现组合的多功能榻，这些家具史上从未提及。敦煌藏经洞出土籍帐文书中未出现“榻”的名词，而出现如六脚大床、莲花大床等，“踏床”可能就是当地对榻的俗称。

英语语境:

There is slightly dieffrence between the two forms of bed, one is called Chuang(床) and other is called Ta(榻) in the Dunhuang Murals and there are no recording of Ta is found among the Dunhuang Manuscripts, ther are appeared other kind of bed:one is the six foot of bed in a big size and another is of in the big shape of lotus flower.
