The tanci “Tianyuhua (The Heavens Rain Flowers)” is a very typical work in tanci novels. A rhyme in it had been arranged from the beginning to the end of this tanci novel; this talent became a good thing that people liked to talk about. “Tian Yu Hua” was written in the early Qing Dynasty but it recalled the memory of the Ming Dynasty. Its main line was to expose corruption in court politics in the late Ming Dynasty and its auxiliary line was the boudoir lives of women in Zuo's family. It shaped many distinctive female images; therefore it is unique among popular Tanci novels at that time, especially great effect on the women. The writer paid attention to the fate of women by sympathy brushwork, reflecting distinctive female consciousness.
