成化青花天字罐，器有大小，高大者形如今天的绍兴老酒坛。口大、短颈，肩浑圆，腹略收，宽底。底部以青花楷书“天”字款。罐上多绘山水纹饰，两面生动。斗彩天字罐，腹部多绘“海水飞马”、“海水飞龙”图案，罐盖纹饰与器腹纹饰协调。成化天字罐总体分斗彩器与青花器，所绘图案纹饰主要为海水飞马、变形莲瓣纹、山水纹饰等。

英语语境:

Jars with the Chinese character tian during the reign of Cheng Hua in Ming Dynasty have different sizes, and the big ones can compare to today's Shaoxing jars. These jars, with big opening, short neck, round shoulder, slight belly and broad base, are inscribed “Tian” in blue and white by regular script at the bottom. The jars are mostly decorated with vivid landscape painting, both two sides of them being vivid. Doucai jars with the Chinese character tian are often decorated with flying horses and dragons in the sea, and the motifs on the cover are coordinate with those on the belly of the jars. Chenghua jars can be generally divided into doucai porcelain and blue-and-white porcelain. The designs and patterns on the jars are mainly flying dragons in the sea, lotus-petal design and landscape etc.
