汉语语境:
“跳老虎”又叫“虎舞”，或称“老虎笙”。正月初八这天，由八只老虎参加，以后每天增加一只老虎，到正月十五增加到十五只老虎。先来的为大老虎，后来的是小老虎。虎舞作前导的是一位称作“垛西”的长者，虎队成员都披着画成虎皮的毡子，全身画虎纹。“垛西”手持“嘣咚鼓”，带领一队老虎，到每家每户前跳舞。夜间，在田间燃起火堆，虎笙绕寨而行。十五只老虎都出场后，雌雄老小虎都齐了，全村摆酒庆贺，整夜狂欢。
英语语境:
"Jump tiger" is also called "tiger dance", or "tiger sheng". On the eighth day of the first lunar month, eight tigers participate; afterwards, there will be one more tiger each day, and the number will grow to 15 on the fifteenth day. Big tigers come first, followed by small tigers. An elderly man, called "duoxi" will act as the guide for the tiger dance, and all members are draped in tiger-print felts and their whole body is painted with tiger stripes. "Duoxi", holding a "boom dong drum", leads a team of tigers to dance in front of each house. At night, a bonfire is lit in the field, and teh tiger team walk around the village. After fifteen tigers are all present, including male, female, old and young tigers, the village take out wine to celebrate all night long.
