This kind of ritual contains the long history of Chinese nations and abundant folk cultures. Since modern times, with the evolution of society, folks of Shiyou Village have been inheriting and developing it spontaneously. Though this folk art form was under great impact during the Great Cultural Revolution, these artists in Nuo group in Shiyou Village can still conquer all obstacles and hardships to protect their Nuo Dance culture.
