The main purpose of the poetry on dancing music of the Liang dynasty was not to show the singing and dancing skills but to describe the singing and dancing girls. It mostly focused on the dancing girls'physical beauty while ignoring their singing and dancing skills; it was carnal and sensual．It concentrated on observing the body and ignored the emotional communication between the audience and the performers and their sentiment expression.
