“务头”一词系古代戏曲艺术用语。元末周德清最早对其作了详备的论述；明清王骥德、李渔对周氏务头的观点都作出了自己的理解与发挥。近人吴梅对务头的解说别出心裁，在继承周德清的同时又作出了自己的微观之学，具有很强的可操作性。
英语语境:
"Wutou" is a jargon in ancient traditional opera. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Zhou Deqing was the first to exlain the term in detail. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Wang Jide and Li Yu commented and elaborated on Mr. Zhou's view about "wutou". Among the modern scholars, Wu Mei has provided a unique new interpretation of "wutou"; he has not only inherited the theory of Zhou Deqing but also made their own micro theory, which has a strong operability.
