英语语境:
Pin carving refers to patterns inscribed in the porcelain body with sharp-pointed objects, such as pin. The earliest pin carving in ancient porcelain dates back to the late Western Zhou dynasty, and appears in most of chinaware during the warring states period and the Han dynasty. As far as the Northern and Southern Dynasties, pin carving prevails and the Yue kiln and the Hongzhou kiln in the South China were famous for the sophisticated skills. Pin carving developed fully in the late Tang dynasty and paved a new way of decorating mono-colored glazed porcelain.
