香袋是用以暖色为主的色布及彩绸、棉花、丝线、彩珠、色线等为原料， 通过剪、贴、绣、缝、填、緾(古同“缠”)、扎、绕等工艺制成的形态各异的小挂件。中间嵌装雄黄、苍术、冰片、艾叶等中药香料，故名香袋。按照我国旧民间习俗，不论南方北方，每到春夏之交的端午节前后，盛行佩带香袋，以驱毒虫、散浊气。
英语语境:
