“影画合璧”中的影指的是摄影艺术，画指的是绘画艺术。摄影艺术是近代科技与艺术的紧密结合而形成的一门新的视觉造型艺术。从它被发明出来的那天起，它似乎就站在了绘画的对立面，简直可以称之为绘画的“天敌”。因为它带来的是对绘画的纪实功能的一种前所未有的冲击和颠覆！有人曾预言：绘画即将消亡！据说 1846 年法国新古典主义的权威人物安格尔曾率领众大家向法国政府请愿，强烈要求“禁止摄影，以避免不正当竞争”。然而事实证明当时的人们多虑了，一百多年过去了，绘画不但没有消亡，而且更加的缤纷多彩了。

The combination of photography and painting refers to the art of photograph and the art of painting. The art of photograph is a new visual art thanks to the combination with modern technology and science. From the day when it was made on, it seems the contrary of painting as it impacts and overturns the documentary function of painting. It was once predicted that the painting would perish. It is said that in 1846 an authority of French Neoclassicism called Ingres, together with other famous people, once screamed for forbidding photography in case of illicit competition. However, it proved that they were wrong, as today painting is thriving instead of disappearing more than 100 years later.
